For my last day in New York for fashion week, right before heading to London, I spent the day in my favourite area to stay in NYC, Chelsea. If you’re coming to NYC for the first time, definitely stay around midtown because you’ll literally be in the middle of the town- you can get anywhere in a matter of minutes and save time on transportation. Not to forget Chelsea Market.

I’m simply in love with this vintage virgin wool coat I found while thrift shopping a couple of weeks ago. I’m majorly obsessed with Max Mara camel coats, so until the day comes when I’ll get my hands on one of those, I’ll be thrifting my life away. My number one tip for a successful thrifting trip is to go to a shop that has a rep for being modern, and carrying a lot of nice stuff. I went to a local shop that had a lot of good yelp reviews, and to my surprise, it didn’t disappoint.

What’s your experience with thrifting? I know so many people are against it, so I’m curious!
