Last week, I stopped by Butterfly Studio Salon in New York City to receive a personalized Fusio-Dose treatment and haircare diagnosis. During the treatment the stylist analyzed my hair and noticed that I have some damage due to coloring and bleaching and my hair needed a little reconstruction. As a result, the stylist gave me a customized 5-minute treatment that left my hair incredibly soft and helped to repair the damage from dye-jobs in the past, and then prescribed the Résistance Thérapiste Collection to use at-home.
I think it’s so incredibly important to note that everybody’s hair, skin, and metabolism is different, and so to find out what exact haircare line suits me, was a very enriching experience.
The Kérastase Résistance Thérapiste Collection is designed for damaged, over-processed hair (often good for those who are blonde or color their hair often). It left my hair shiny, smooth, and instantly repaired.
Résistance Thérapiste utilizes sap from the Resurrection Plant, known for its unique ability to come back to life after 10 years near death. The formula also combines six essential amino acids and hydrolyzed wheat protein to completely restore and renew the hair fiber. The range includes a conditioner, shampoo, masque and serum.
The best part of the whole experience is that after having my hair treated in the salon, feeling magically light and healthy afterwards, I got to go home with the product to support the reconstruction of my hair. So instead of as usual, leaving the salon and saying to myself “I wish I could do my hair like this”- I actually can for once.
Kérastase also just released their new, luxurious, environmentally sustainable packaging- which looks so bold and beautiful on my bathroom vanity.
