I know I’m not the only one that’s had it with winter… in fact it seems nobody’s been able to hush down about how much they wish it were spring already (myself included). February and March are probably two of the worst months for me, because it’s like you know spring is coming, everyone’s talking about it, stores are selling floral dresses, the sun is shining- oh but plot twist- it’s colder in those two months than it is during any other months. February and March are teases. Cold hearted, promising, and unfulfilling teases.

There’s no harm in thinking of the light after the storm though. Personally I can’t wait to shed the layers and venture into new trends- like these striped jeans I got from Ann Taylor. I usually wear black distressed denim because they elongate my legs, but I recently read about how vertical lines also visually create the illusion of longer legs (whereas horizontal lines can visually widen you). I’m a huge fan of Ann Taylor denim, (love these other black jeans I have from them) because they fit so well and I never feel constricted in them. Something about their material and quality is always on point.

Being the biggest vest collector of likely this century, I of course had to throw one on top of a white tee to dress up the look. Lately I’ve been loving black & white outfits, stripes, black leather jackets- just everything monochromatic. Funny how one year ago I would have never, ever worn all black- and now it’s all I ever wear.
Never say never..
