When I first moved to Los Angeles a year ago, I blindly moved into a two-bedroom home in Silver Lake.

When I signed the lease, I had no idea where Silver Lake was, what the area was known for, but intuition threw me there- and I fell in love. Silver Lake is a one of the hippest areas in Los Angeles, filled with hipster coffee shops, killer vintage boutiques, houses on hills with million-dollar views of the city, vegan restaurants, and some of the best dressed residents ever, all of whom look like rockstars. It’s an oasis for young adults. I re-visit probably every other day, simply because it is energetically such an incredible place to be and get inspired- and I’ve partnered with Lucky Brand to give you guys the inside scoop on Silver Lake.
I threw on my new Lucky Brand overalls, a white blouse + and my favorite black hat and grabbed my girl Kristina for a long walk along the Sunset Junction.

Must visit Restaurant in Silver Lake: Sage for amazing vegan food, Sqirl for breakfast, Guisados for Mexican, Moon Juice for blue juice and stellar tonics.
Must visit shops: Furst Time Around for re-done vintage pieces & generally all stores on Sunset are incredible.
Must visit sight-seeing: The Bates Motel (palm trees painted white), Echo Park for a picnic or paddle boating, Café Stella for dinner and people watching, Silver Lake stairs.

Thank you to Lucky Brand for partnering with me on this post.
